Getting a job would be one of the best things that a college pass-out or someone who has finished his or her education, can achieve. The whole purpose of all these years was to gain knowledge which would be utilized in the future to secure a good and satisfying job. When such pass outs or students go for the jobs, they try to make it commensurate with their educational qualifications, to the best extent possible.
Engineering students, who are studying in various technological colleges and universities all over the country, have a dream of getting through the placement or campus selection, to work in software companies or other core engineering companies. A major share of these new recruits are about to enter the software industry, although, the number of recruiting companies belonging to core works are gradually increasing.
In such a scenario where the campus recruitments are increasing, students need to prepare themselves for taking up these opportunities to the maximum. Most of these companies, which come for campus recruitment, usually do a written test before selecting the students for the final round of interview. This means that the written round is a hurdle that needs to be cleared initially, before one can at least hope to clear the interview round.
Many a time, students who are well versed in the spoken art, might not be compliant with the written papers. For them the study of the previous year’s placement papers can be of a great help. These are papers or rather question papers that one has to appear for, in the exams conducted in the form of written tests by the companies. Questions that are included in these papers include topics that are relevant for the respective subjects and streams. This means that the engineering students will have papers where they have to answer questions from their courses, with relevancy to the particular jobs that they are applying for.
Similarly, students with MCA background need to answer questions related to computer applications that have significance for the company and the jobs being applied for. Such placement papers are a compilation of the different tests that have been conducted in previous years, so that the students are now aware of the type of questions and the usual topics from which they are put.
Seniors are the usual source from which these papers can be gotten. But, with the availability of the placement papers in the internet, students are finding it easy to shuffle through the papers before their exams are due. Questions that come in such exams are not very tough, but it is sometimes confusing for the students when they think about the different topics from which the questions might come.
Scoring of good marks in these exams is an essential thing for the students as a lot depends on the answers. It is their future which is at stake. For this reason, many students try to go through the papers as much as possible, thus increasing their chances of passing in the exams. After that, it is their luck and their talent which would be placed before the interviewers for a final round of interview. |
