3D screen developments may interest Harrow TV fans

Many of those with TV aerials in Harrow, including consumers who have had aerial repairs in Harrow, may be excited about the developments in the viewing industry that are taking place around them. These days, there are many different sets to choose from and more of the options are being integrated with 3D technology.

In a development that may interest consumers, a special 3D TV has been released in Japan that allows viewers to benefit from impressive visual effects without wearing glasses, HDTV Org reports.

Product developer Dimenco has launched a 52-inch autostereoscopic 3D TV. Called the BDL5231-3D2R, it is being sold by Nissho Electronics.

However, those with TV aerials in Harrow, whether they have made use of aerial repairs in Harrow or not, may not be able to get their hands on the items for a while. The products are retailing for the equivalent of £13,000.

But commenting on the BDL5231-3D2R, HDTV Org said: "This is nevertheless a serious piece of glasses-free 3D kit. A full HD resolution sits alongside a 2,000:1 contrast ratio, 8ms response time, 700 nits of brightness, and a 60Hz refresh rate."

It added: "With a huge investment in 3D screens which require glasses, the big manufacturers are anxious to reclaim some of that investment; however, at the same time they can't afford to lose out on what most of us consider to be the holy grail of 3D home entertainment - glasses free."

The world of television viewing continues to develop apace and firms such as Dimenco, which was founded by four individuals who previously worked on a 3D project at Philips, are helping to drive the process forward.

People have certainly come a long way since the primitive, small-screened, black and white sets that were available when television was first launched many decades ago.
