A More Interesting Meeting

We’re all well aware that meetings aren’t always quite as exciting as we might hope. However, there are plenty of ways to make the most important ones not only more interesting, but also far more successful too.
Firstly be sure to set out your meeting room in the right way. Having the right furniture is going to be very important and being able to change the setting of each meeting to make it as productive as possible is going to be very important. Therefore, you will need furniture that can easily allow a very large group to sit comfortably and all feel as able to get involved as each other, whilst smaller meetings will need to have a table and chair set up that makes people feel less exposed.
Next, be sure to use aids in any pitch. Visual aids are not just gimmicks, but instead they simply allow people to use multiple senses to get a true feel for what you are offering and relieve what can otherwise be somewhat of an aural assault. Not only will more information be able to be displayed if it is done visually but you will be able to add a great deal more light and shade, as well as brevity, to a pitch than you will be able to manage with words alone.
Items such as projectors are all well and good but these can feel somewhat staid or boring, and therefore computer graphics are likely to be far more successful. Most successful of all will be 3D displays. By using 3D displays, any pitch you make can quite literally come to life and they can be as successful in front of three people as they can three thousand.
It is also now far more cost effective to utilise holographic displays. Whether you buy the equipment needed for holographic displays to let you impress clients again and again or whether you simply rent them for more important meetings, by offering such technology you can find that those you pitch to are far more likely to be impressed and in turn put their trust in you. |
