Fun children’s bedrooms

We all remember being a child and also remember how important our bedrooms were to us. The rest of the house is of course our home, but it is dominated by the adults in the house and their needs, wants and tastes. Our bedroom was the one place we could have our colour choices, within reason, and all our toys. After all, we may have only been children but we still needed our own space.
When creating a bedroom for your children do not underestimate the importance of this room for them. It is a good idea to choose one colour on the walls and use pictures, bedding and curtains and lamp shades to create the child’s dream effect. This is an effective approach as we all know how quickly children grow up and change their minds, so once they are too old for Dora the Explorer or Ben 10 then the accessories can simply be removed and replaced with High School Musical, or whatever the next preferred passion is.
