Polyester high tenacity yarn is used for high performance applications where tenacity is the key factor with Den 210 – 6000 den which are Intermingled, twisted, and multicompact up to 220.000 Dtex. Their Key features include Dope dyed colour, Low elongation, abraision resistant, adhesive activated, low elongation. High tenacity yarn are suited for applications like webbings, narrow fabrics, cordage, deep sea moorings, ropes, nets, strapping, slings, geotextiles, seatbelts, firehose, hose, filtration. The features of High Tenacity Yarn included that they are intermingled, Flame Retardant, Multi Ply, Dope Dyed, Adhesive Activated, Twisted and Flat. Low shrinkage polyester yarn is used where tenacity, yet a low heat shrinkage is required with 220 – 2000 den and Shrinkage from 1,6% - 3,5% which are Intermingled, twisted and multicompact up to 220.000 Dtex with Low shrinkage, HMLS, adhesive activated. Applications of these are included as PVC coated materials, taupaulins, tirecords, filtration, firehose, Geotextiles. Coated yarns are also considered to be used with Polypropylene fiber. HMLS refers to High Modulus Low Shrinkage. High Modulus Low shrinkage polyester yarn is used where tenacity, yet a low heat shrinkage is required with 220 – 2000 den and Shrinkage from accepted which are Intermingled, twisted and multicompact up to 220.000 Dtex with Low shrinkage, adhesive activated. High modulus low shrinkage yarn is especially designed for tirecord with high performance of 1000-1500 den that are Intermingled & twisted usually. Applications of High Modulus Low Shrinkage are included as tire cord, conveyer belt, canvas. |
