When a person wants to purchase a Mini, many times they will opt to purchase a used one. However, the benefits to purchasing a used Mini from a dealer can be great, and most times a person looking at a used Mini purchased at a dealer will not know the difference and not new.
The major advantages of purchasing a used Mini at a dealership are quality and dependability. For example, if you were to purchase a Used Mini from a private, off the street dealer, it would not come with a warrantee of any kind. You buy it as it is, no matter what is wrong with it and have little or no recourse if something goes wrong with it. This can also in part lower the safety risks in the future.
Another great benefit of purchasing a used Mini from a dealer is the pricing. Many times, you can trade in your old car for the used Mini, which then in turn lowers the final pricing. The savings can, many times, end up being much lower than if you were to purchase the car from a private owner. This is because the private owner does not offer trade in pricing and the final price you pay id the original price the private person wanted. The bottom line is purchasing a used Mini from a dealership offers many more benefits in regards to safety and price than if you were to buy from a private seller.
