Function bands gearing up for celeb wedding season

The summer is a popular time for couples to tie the knot. Many hope to take advantage of the nicer weather conditions to help ensure their big days have the special, romantic feel they are after. And, as Judith Woods points out in a Daily Telegraph article, it seems celebrities are no exception.

She noted that a number of high profile individuals are getting hitched over coming weeks. Indeed, leader of the Labour Party Ed Miliband has already tied the knot with his other half. In a ceremony held towards the end of May, he wed his partner of six years and mother of two his two sons Justine Thornton.

Other well known people getting into the nuptial spirit are singer and fashionista Lily Allen and her beau Sam Cooper. This month, they will exchange vows with one another.

Also, rugby player Mike Tindall will say 'I do' to partner Zara Phillips, who is the second child of Princess Anne. The talented equestrian, who won BBC Sports Personality of the Year in 2006 and her equally competitive hubby-to-be will walk down the aisle on July 30th.

It is likely that the couples will make the most of some fantastic entertainment during their receptions and wedding bands may well be on the cards. After all, live bands can really get the party started and they tend to liven up the atmosphere.

Around 300 people are set to attend Lilly Allen and her mans' reception, while Zara Phillips and Mike Tindalls' do will take place in grand surroundings at the Palace of Holyrood in Edinburgh.

Thankfully for anyone trying to book wedding bands, stars and non-celebrities alike, there are many talented groups around. By heading online, people can often source the perfect live bands for their occasions, helping to make their big days extra special.
