Progress continues on 3D TV content

These days, consumers have access to a huge range of television channels and technology thanks to aerial installations in Sussex and elsewhere. They can watch a variety of channels, select their own viewing packages and they if they wish they can make use of interactive services that enable them to see films and programmes at times that suit them. One topic that may be of particular interest to those with TV aerials in Sussex is 3D content. More and more films are being released at the cinema featuring such technology and now a number of firms are slowly introducing it to regular home viewing devices. For example, speaking to TechRadar recently, consumer AV & imaging product specialist at Panasonic Steve Lucas said: "We do have the capability to do it, but we've not announced services as yet." He added: "The likelihood is that we'll start with a demo channel streamed on Viera Connect with Panasonic-created content." The expert went on to suggest that bandwidth is a significant factor contributing to television manufacturers' indecision concerning 3D streaming. He remarked: "A 3D side-by-side format broadcast takes the same space as a regular 2D HD channel, so if that's the case for 3D streaming then the TV would cope with it perfectly well." Mr Lucas also remarked: "Frame sequential 3D - a Full HD image to each eye - will be possible in the future when bandwidth speeds are much greater, but today it would be difficult to make sure consumers get a good service that's not interrupted." No doubt those with TV aerials in Sussex and elsewhere will witness considerable changes to their viewing services over coming years. And, to make sure they benefit fully from the enhancements, they may need to enlist the help of specialists in aerial installations in Sussex. Thankfully, this is easier than ever before and such professionals can be sourced via the web.
