When you are desperate to lose weight it can be tempting to go in search of miracle cures. The sensible part of us knows that there is no such thing but when we are desperate our judgement can be clouded. That said diet pills can work in helping to speed up weight loss. What you need to do though is make sure the diet pills you are buy are safe and you approach it sensibly. Only get them from a registered doctor and do your homework. Reductill:
This diet pill includes a substance called Sibutremine. It is this substance which helps with weight loss and is said to help people lose twice the amount of weight than those trying to do it with diet alone.
Xenical
This diet pill was tested over a two year period. Two groups of people were asked to stick to the same low diet. They were all given pills to ‘help’ with their weight loss; although only half were given Orlistat (the active ingredient in Xenical) l and half were given a placebo. The results at all stages of the test were that the ones taking Orlistat lost more weight. After one year only 8% of people on the placebo pill had lost 10% of their body weight whereas the people that were on Orlistat that had lost 10% of their weight was over double at 20%.
Appesat
This works differently to some of the diet pills on the market. It is not strictly a medicine (defined by the way it is absorbed into the body) it is an appetite suppressant that has had great success.
