Younger neighborhoods are usually the best places for opportunities to find properties to flip. This is not always the case though. Most towns have a high status area with nothing but old properties. Again, this is easy for your agent to find out. Actually they probably already know off the top of their head where the best neighborhoods are. The reason flippers like newer neighborhood is simple, the real estate is generally in better condition, simply because it is new. Older properties will require more work, which means more money out of your pocket.
Usually these high demand neighborhoods are close to good schools and retail areas. Usually these good schools and retail areas attract families that are looking to be close to these areas. These neighborhoods often have well taken care of landscaping and nice, clean looking houses. |
