Mixing it up with garment rails

Window Shoppers – don’t you just love them? If you’re selling windows, then you probably do, but in the current economic climate many businesses will be tearing their hair out as hordes of shoppers happily pad their way through their stores with a dreamy look on their faces. Even hardened ‘shopaholics’ are being hit by the downturn, and find themselves trying but not buying - many store owners just find them trying. So, time to get creative?

Dazzling Displays

Consumers need to be tempted; they need light, colour, shiny, moving things. They like change. They like offers. Keeping your store and your stock ‘fluid’ can be difficult, but there is one very simple way in which to change the look of the place every week, or day if you fancy it. For those retailing clothes, set displays can be deadly. Mixing and matching your display on a daily basis may seem like just too much trouble, but if your fixed displays are fairly static, those window shoppers are just not going to be tempted to keep coming back. Garment rails are one very simple way to mix things up a bit. Cheap and effective, displaying a range of items on different garment rails allows you to move the display about, match up items in different combinations each day; you can have a sale rail on slow days and remove it quickly on good days. The trick is to keep the shop changing all the time. In these difficult economic days, variety is a welcome sight to shoppers. By using this technique you might be surprised at the results.

Keep things moving

As garment rails allow you to change what is and isn’t on offer, where things are placed in the store, and importantly get the maximum stock out on display, you can find out what is and what isn’t selling. You will also give the impression that the stock is changing all the time and that stock is just flying off the shelves. A constantly changing shop gives the impression of high sales activity, whatever the truth. Many regular customers, even those who just browse, will take this as a sign of the popularity of your lines, which in itself will tempt them back to buying!

Author Resource:- Garment rails provide a flexible option for display in many clothes shops. Allowing you to get the maximum stock on the shop floor, change the look of the shop daily and keep your customers interested. For those with limited sales space garment rails offer a flexible solution to display.
