Alton Tower is the UK’s most visited theme park. It is located in Staffordshire, England. More than 2.8 million people visit this park every year. Speed is just an understatement on ride Rita as you will experience 0- 100 km/ph in just 2.5 seconds. All the thrill rides are strictly for adults and people with cardiac problem are not allowed on these rides. The harnesses and safety gears are checked regularly and are perfectly safe.
Besides these adult rides, there are some family rides and you can experience bouts of laugh and fun frights at the Congo River rapids and sonic spin ball. The kid’s zone is also very exciting with loads of activity for all ages from rock climbing to net walking. The cuckoo land and the adventure land are both is the place to enjoy and spend quality time with your loved ones. The old Mc Donald farm and the Charlie and chocolate factory ride and mutiny bay are among special attractions. As for the water park, it is heated and open all round the year; it is an oasis of fun and frolic for the entire family. You can splash into the water from the various tunnels, or relax at the lazy river or even enjoy the experience of sea at the artificial wave area.
The Alton tower resort is situated near the vintage tower which dates back 8th centuries. The beautiful gardens, lush lawns and conservatory area is a must visit and ideal for a family picnic on a hot summer day.
