The Compaq Presario CQ62Z is a moderate-sized notebook computer that Hewlett Packard has designed to target a niche who desires a simple to use computer with an easy to use interface sold at value pricing. With a black matter exterior finishing and a sleek professional-looking keyboard, the Compaq Presario CQ62Z has a clean appearance and does not compromise quality for affordable price points.
Constructed with a 15.6-inch high-definition LED display monitor, the CQ62Z weighs just under five pounds for easy portability. While it is light enough to transport comfortably in a carrying case, the screen is sizable and offers a maximum viewing platform for videos, gaming, and Internet surfing. The Compaq Presario customizable device includes Windows 7, the Home Premium edition, installed as the operating system. While this is the rated as one of the more simplistic Windows Operating Systems on the market today, it can be upgraded to Vista for an additional fee. The power source is fueled by a 6-cell Ion Lithium battery and is promised to provide up to six hours of batter life in the event you are away from an outlet. While this is not quite as long as a netbook might offer, the battery life exceeds that of most laptops on the market today.
There are several accessories available to give you the tools necessary to personalize your powerful customizable notebook. Amongst these accessories is a webcam, a build-in microphone and a digital SD media card reader. The laptop is wireless capable and comes standard with bluetooth technology.
