Beauty skin care is important to Girls Aloud star Kimberley Walsh, who noted it is important to protect bodies from burning in the heat of summer holidays.
Her comments may have been targeted at the many Britons who are either on holiday at present or are about to head away to catch their share of the sunshine.
Asked how she manages to stay in such good shape, the celebrity revealed she is not without her own worries before she gets onto the beach.
She commented: "I still get the bikini-body fear before I go on holiday, but after a couple of days, I get over it.
"I tan quite easily and don't tend to burn, but protecting your skin and hair is so important. I slather on loads of sun-cream and if I'm feeling a little body conscious I'll wrap around a sarong."
Those keen to emulate the singer in her body care regime may wish to note that she sometimes uses body shimmer products, which she claimed add "amazing definition" to physiques.
As well as beauty skin care, Walsh noted she has to be careful with her hair because it is naturally quite fair and it can get "really light and dry out".
There are a range of products available to suit different people's needs and it is sometimes advisable for individuals to take conditioning products down to the swimming pool to stop their locks from becoming stringy, she pointed out.
Some of those who are paying particular attention to their body care at present because they are going on holiday may be opting to stay in the UK rather than heading to foreign shores.
Since the onset of the economic problems, so-called "staycations" have grown in popularity among consumers who are keen to reduce their levels of expenditure. |
