The Fantastic Sensation From HTC Available Exclusively On Vodafone, With Other Networks Soon To Follow

HTC have established a reputation over the past couple of years for producing high specification, high quality mobile phones. This is evident from some of the manufacturers releases which have including the best selling Desire and the excellent Legend. So when HTC announced details of their latest handset, the Sensation, it quite rightly stirred up a frenzy amongst mobile fans thanks to its impressive specification. Network providers in the UK have been clambering over one another to offer consumers this excellent handset, but with one company in particular coming out on top.

Vodafone have secured exclusive rights to the HTC Sensation handset, however this exclusivity is going to be short lived as it only lasts for four weeks after the phones initial release. Although the model is currently shown on Vodafones website it is only listed as coming soon with no pricing, however it is expected that we will see the phone hit the shelves in may. Other networks have been keen to show their intentions of stocking what is looking like one of this years top models. Soon after the announcement from Vodafone, representatives from Three, Orange and T-Mobile all stated that the model will be available on their networks from June, with O2 later commenting they also have a June release penciled in for the handset. With the release still a week or two away, the pricing of this model is a little shady however a spokesperson from HTC themselves has said the model looks likely to be priced at a similar level to one of the firms other flagship models, the Desire HD. For the consumer this means a two year contract is likely to set you back around £35 a month, although some variation are inevitable with every network keen to set their pricing as keen as possible.

So why exactly is the HTC Sensation causing such a stir amongst both consumers and network providers. Well for starters the phone is from HTC, a brand who have established such a good reputation that any model they release almost achieves levels of expectation on a par with their rivals Apple. This expectation is well justified on the Sensation as every inch of its specification is top quality. Looking at the screen it is a beast at 4.3 inches, but one that also offers one of the top resolutions available at 540 x 960. Under the bonnet the phone continues to impress, in this case thanks to a processor which is not only ultra fast at 1.2 Ghz, but also sports dual cores which means multi tasking on the Sensation is akin to what you would expect to find on a laptop.

When it is eventually released, the HTC Sensation looks destined to follow in the footsteps of models such as the Desire a become a favourite with consumers everywhere.
