The Nokia C5-03 Offers A Combination Of Style And Substance

The Nokia C5-03 is a great choice for those who may be on a lower budget, but at the same time do not want to sacrifice functionality. It is available in a range of colours and provides impressive functionality, meaning it offers appeal to a wide range of users.
The design looks good and the handset weighs in at less than 100 grams, but it fits nicely into your hands and pockets as well. It is therefore pocket friendly, and a pleasure to hold and use.
The screen offers a resolution of 360x 640, resulting in superb display quality display of the on screen content. Also, it can display up to 16 million colours, meaning that the colour rendering is superb.
The camera has 5 megapixels, which is ideal for high quality snapshots, and you can set focus at your liking. It records and plays back videos of VGA resolution without problems at 15 fps, so for this price range, performance is excellent.
As for media, Nokia packs a media browser and an internet tool as well. They function properly, and surprisingly well, the net browser supports Flash Lite, and the text shows up sharply. Video playback looks great, too. Music playback has some surprises, too, with impressive bass levels and an equaliser supplied.
The greatest plus of the model is its battery life – with normal usage, it easily lasts three days. Seeing how often other phones have to be charged, it seems like a huge step forward.
As the Nokia C5-03 is a smartphone, it of course has access to an application store, as the iPhone has AppStore and Android smartphones have Android Market. Nokia has Ovi for a generic social networking and app store. It offers free navigation for suitable phones which is a huge plus (it has an A-GPS antenna included). Also, Ovi offers a cloud as well to synchronise your messages, media, address book and the like, which again is a huge plus, bringing up the plus side of the scale.
Available in a range of colours, the Nokia C5-03 also offers appeal to those who also view their mobile phone as a fashion statement. It is available in Graphite Black, Lime Green, Petrol Blue, Aluminium Grey, Pink and Black. For the price point at which it sits, the Nokia C5-03 offers a comprehensive package. The functionality is very good, and the aesthetic styling is an added bonus.
