Healthy Recipes – Quick Fire Home Cook Meals


Healthy recipes for everyday occasion;

Happy Morning Muffin
Enjoy a delicious breakfast with this delicious morning muffin as it treats you with a little bit of everything – raisins, carrots, wheat germ, apple, butter, and nuts.

Ingredients:
1 ½C all-purpose flour
1 1/2C wheat flour (whole)
2 tbsp. wheat germs (toasted)
2 tbsp. walnuts (chopped)
1 ¼ C sugar
1 tbsp. cinnamon (ground)
1 tbsp. vanilla extract
¼C .vegetable oil
½C. apple butter
2 tbsp. baking powder
½ tsp. baking soda
2pcs. Egg whites
1pc. Egg
1c raisins
½ tsp. salt
2c. grated carrots
1pc. Apple – cored, chopped, and peeled

Baking Directions:
1. Heat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius (375 degrees Fahrenheit), and bright light amount of oil to 18 of your muffin cups.
2. mix and whisk together your egg whites, eggs, vanilla, apple butter, and oil using a medium bowl.
3. Using a large bowl , combine together your sugar, cinnamon, flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Mix in the raisins, carrots, and apples. Combine your apple butter mixture t you've made earlier until you get a moistened consistency. Spoon the mixture to your treated muffin cups at about ¾ full.
4. Use a small bowl to combine the wheat germs and walnuts. Sprinkle the combination over your muffin tops before you heat them in the oven.
5. Cook the muffin for at least 15 – 20 minutes until your muffins appear gold. A good way to check if they're properly bake is when they spring back when they're lightly pressed.

Frogmore Stew
Frogmore stew is one of the most delicious healthy recipes which you can enjoy during lunch or even dinner. Delight your appetite with this delicious quick cook recipe as it fills and warms your belly any meal of the day

Ingredients:
¾ c. Old Bay Seasoning
6 quarts of water
2 lbs. red potatoes
12pcs. ear corn – cleaned, husked, and quartered
2 lbs. smoked sausage, evenly cut into 2 inches
4 lbs. fresh shrimp (should be large and unpeeled)

Directions:
1. Boil both the water and your old bay seasoning using a large stockpot.
2. Then gradually add your potatoes and let it boil for at least 15 minutes. Add and stir your shrimps and wait until it finally turns to pink – around 5 minutes. Then drain your pot and serve. Enjoy.

Healthy Garden Salad
Healthy recipes are not that hard to search. Imagination is the secret to a healthy recipe; just like this healthy garden salad which you can enjoy everyday.

15 oz. canned black beans – drained and rinsed
5 tbsp. red vinegar wine
4pcs. green onion – sliced thinly
3 tbsp. grape seed oil
1 pint cherry tomatoes – quartered
1/3 c. fresh cilantro – chopped
3 c. frozen corn kernels
2pcs. lime – should be juiced
1 lbs. shelled edamame (green soybeans)
1 tsp. white sugar
2 cloves of minced garlic
¾ tsp. salt

Directions:
1. Combine and whist together your grape seed oil, red wine vinegar, lime juice, cilantro, salt, garlic, and sugar. Then set aside.
2. Boil lightly salted water using a big bowl. Pour in the soybeans and allow it to boil for at least 3 minutes. Add your corn and continue for 1 more minute. Drain your bowl very well and add the dressing. Mix gently all the ingredients then let it cool.
