If companies build large websites, individuals who are connected to the Internet through dial-up connections will experience significant delays in content delivery. In Recent past some companies that do business online have been trapped for giving away or selling confidential information about their customers. Several of these companies provide assurances on their websites, claiming that customer information will remain private and no one will have access to it nor steal it. Some companies that purchases customers information offer the option for individuals to have their private information removed from the database or master collection of records, which is also known as opting out or Unsubscribe. However, many customers are totally unaware if and when their private information is being shared to others legally or illegally, and they are unable to cease the transfer of their information between companies if such activity occurs.

Another key security apprehension that consumers have with e-commerce traders is whether or not they will receive exactly what they purchase. Information on Internet Marketing Advice or Online merchants have tried to address this worry by investing in and building strong consumer brands and goodwill (e.g., Amazon.com, eBay etc), and by leveraging merchant or feedback rating systems and e-commerce bonding resolutions. All of these resolutions attempt to assure consumers that their transactions will be free of complications because the merchants can be trusted to offer reliable products and services. Additionally, the major online payment mechanisms (credit cards, PayPal, Google) have also provided back-end buyer protection systems to address problems if they occurs
