Whilst this is not on the same level as rival handsets such as the Nokia N8 with 16GB, for the small investment of the price of a microSD card, you can expand the memory by up to 32GB. Therefore, you should be able to comfortably store your music collection or any videos any photos you have taken with the phone’s camera, without any problems.
Large touchscreen:
The ample 4.3 inch touchscreen is highly responsive and does a great job of displaying on screen content. This is thanks to 16 million colours being displayed within its high pixel resolution. This makes viewing websites, pictures, videos, and playing games enjoyable.
As well as the features, mentioned about, the specifications do not end there. The HTC Desire HD boasts great multimedia compatibility, as well as the ability to download additional applications from the Android Market (of which there are over 100,000 to choose from).
Are there any bad points?
The HTC Desire is generally regarded as one of the most complete smartphone packages available. In fact you would probably struggle to find any bad reviews of it. However, some individuals may find that the handset is rather large (which can’t be avoided with its large touchscreen). But most consumers would see this as a bonus because of the advantages of a large screen outweighing the possible inconvenience it may bring for some. If you are a previous iPhone user and prefer the setup of the iOS software, you may want to avoid this phone due to the Android OS. But again, most people see the advantage of this, and the Android software is gaining popularity all the time.
In general, the HTC Desire will handle just about any task you will throw at it on a daily basis. If you are looking for a new smartphone, the HTC Desire HD may be worth a closer look.
