The Nokia N8 Makes A Great Cameraphone Due To A 12 Mega Pixel Digital Camera

Nokia has always been one of the most popular mobile phones manufacturers. Now that smart phones are the becoming increasingly popular, Nokia has had to continually upgrade their phones and they have finally released a phone that can hold its own in the smartphone market. The Nokia N8 is one of Nokia’s most popular smart phones and has many features that will keep users happy with the product that they purchased. While the Operating system on the Nokia is not considered the best, the 12 megapixel camera and a few additions to this model keep it in contention with the other smart phones.
The first feature that makes this phone a good choice for potential buyers is the camera that is built in. Most smartphones have anywhere from a 5 megapixel camera to an 8 megapixel camera. The Nokia N8 has all of them beat with a very powerful 12 megapixel camera that takes excellent quality photos. With the camera, users can not only take great pictures that they can view on their phone, but they can also get them printed out and have the pictures look excellent. With a 1 megapixel camera, a person can print out a standard photo and have it look crisp and clear. With a 12 megapixel camera, a person can make use the picture for a poster and not notice any pixilation within the image.
For touch screen phones, it is very important the screen be strong and has a great resolution. With the Nokia N8, users will find that while the screen resolution may be lacking, at least in comparison to some more recently released models such as the HTC Desire HD, the strength of the screen makes up for the loss in resolution. The screen is almost completely scratch resistant (thanks to Gorilla Glass) which may be a big factor for people that have a history of their phones breaking. The resolution of the phone is 360 by 640 pixels with a screen size of 3.5 inches. This is decent enough for the vast majority of users and provides a great user experience on a day to day basis.
The internal processor may not be the most powerful on the market; multitasking is asking a bit much, but for carrying out standard functions it is fine. One of the better features of this phone is that the memory can be expanded quite a bit and the phone is actually surprisingly affordable. The standard memory size for this phone is 16GB but can later be upgraded to double that amount thanks to a microSD slot. Another feature that user will enjoy is the HDMI output. Users can connect their phone to their high definition TV for a larger viewing screen.
Overall, the Nokia N8 is by no means a groundbreaking standard smart phone. What it may lack in certain aspect, it more than makes up for it in the camera department, which to be honest, blows the competition out of the water. It is easily affordable and has a few of the bells and whistles that the more expensive phones have. The phone is fun to use and is durable enough to withstand some o the harshest treatment. If you are a fan of Nokia handsets, their offering to the smartphone market is likely to impress.
