The Impressive 7 Pro From HTC Offers Users The Perfect Handset For Business Use

The clue is very much in the name when it comes to HTC's latest mobile handset. The 7 Pro is attempting to take the Windows 7 operating system to the professional, business market by including a Qwerty keypad to help with e mails as well as a multitude of other functions. So is this latest OS by Microsoft the perfect platform for the business user?

Windows 7 does not only operate in a very different manner to traditional smartphones, but from the minute you first turn the phone on you are faced with something that looks very different from anything we have encountered before. Thanks to the phones internet connection, the series of tiles that makes up the homescreen can be continually updated. Where this holds advantages for many users, the work orientated user will find the display showing forthcoming appointments useful, reducing the need to physically access your agenda to view such information. The calendar facility itself colour codes appointments according to whether they are work or personal. A wealth of other details are also updated automatically including social networking statuses, news and weather. Being a Microsoft system, the OS on the 7 Pro is the only one to support Outlook Mobile, enabling you to view messages that are important to you without the need to sift through pages of junk. You have the facility to bulk delete messages and also respond to urgent meeting invitations. As well as Outlook, a host of other Mail accounts are supported, including Windows Live and Google mail.

The HTC 7 Pro incorporates the Microsoft Office range of products, meaning that even when you are out of the office, you can still benefit from many of the features that you would find on your PC. A range of editing facilities are available via Excel, Word and Powerpoint, allowing you to also review a host of data whilst you are on the move. The handset also enables the use of One Note mobile, a programme that takes notes about anything you desire, from the minutes of a work meeting to your latest shopping list, and even view them on your phone or easily synchronise them to your office suite on your home or work computer. it is not only in the workplace that this new platform can be of benefit, but social networking is made simple by the Social Hub, a system the merges your traditional phonebook with incoming feeds and updates from a range of sites such as Twitter and Facebook.

The HTC 7 Pro is the perfect handset to display the prowess of the new operating system, whilst offering the business based user the extra functionality gained by a full keypad.
