Solar Panels - How to Protect Your Cell Panels from Moist

Solar energy produces one of the most practical means of generating electrical power. Unlike contemporary electrical power sources that rely on coal, fossil fuel, and oil medium, solar panels rely its energy on the sun. The powerful flare transmitted by the sun is absorbed by solar cells known as photovoltaic cells, which processes and converts it into direct energy. The product can actually be used to lighten up bulbs, heat water, or can even supply satellites with its needed energy.

Solar energy is also a great substitute to today's standard form of electricity. Because a solar panel is dependent on the sun, the electrical energy it can give off is unlimited and it won't die out that easily. It is also eco-friendly that does not emit or cause any harmful effect to the environment. Aside from this, solar energy can also help lower monthly bill consumption as lesser energy is being consumed in a month in running appliances. And because this type of electrical energy is renewable, you are guaranteed to have a steady stream of electrical power supply most days in a year. Independent rooftop energy is a practical way of bringing energy to a growing community. The convenient feature of installing solar panel to a home, community, or business is, you can just simply add new cells as your community grows bigger and bigger. For conscious aesthetics, you can also install these panels in a nice and creative fashion.

Protecting your solar energy from damages is an important aspect that should be heavily prioritized. Although most panels are designed to resist extreme weather shifts. It is still advisable to apply preventive measures to keep your panels safe and secured.

Protecting Your Solar Cells from Moist:

1.) Prepare, arrange and connect the photovoltaic cells on your wooden blackboard or Plexiglas. The size of your backboard should be equal to the size of your solar panels that you intend to use. Using a marker or a pencil, make a trace around each your solar cell. Your backboard should now appear containing the traces for each of your photovoltaic cells.

2.) Before you proceed. Wear your safety rubber gloves first, and then combine a clear-drying urethrane epoxy base resin to the base of a sturdy clear wood or plastic for about a minute or more using a stirring stick. You can purchase a clear-drying epoxy resin with an active urethrane ingredient at reasonable price from various merchandise depots and hardware stores. Paste an equal amount of clear epoxy resin on the cell outlines on top of your backboard. Let the mixture dry for a few seconds, and then you can start pressing photovoltaic cells into the outlines you made on the backboard to keep them well in tact in place.

3.) Next, equally spread your urethrane epoxy all over the remaining outline of your board smoothly and evenly. Spread the urethrane epoxy on each of the photovoltaic cell including on the connectors between each of your solar panel.

4.) To test if your connectors are working just fine, you can use a multi-meter that would lead straight in to each panel. Ideally, your connector should be able to generate power as it should be.
