Use solvent ink in your wide format printer?
No doubt you like the fact that solvent ink is pretty inexpensive in direct comparison to other ink peripherals. You’re not on your own. A growing number of businesses are cutting the cost of their print processes using solvent ink instead of traditional print cartridges.

Original or compatible

What if my printer doesn’t support plug and play cartridges?
Some do, some don’t. That doesn’t mean to say you can’t still benefit from low cost solvent ink. How? Simply flush out your existing ink prior to using the new solvent ink. Have a look at the manufacturer’s instructions for your printer to see if it’s compatible with replacement solvent ink cartridges. If you can’t find the information you could always ring suppliers and ask for their advice.
With luck your printer will already be compatible for value for money solvent ink cartridges and you can start making savings on your print processes straight away. Then again, it’s not exactly the end of the world if you have to flush out old ink to cut costs on printing in the future. |
