Solvent ink

Use solvent ink in your wide format printer?

No doubt you like the fact that solvent ink is pretty inexpensive in direct comparison to other ink peripherals. You’re not on your own. A growing number of businesses are cutting the cost of their print processes using solvent ink instead of traditional print cartridges.

To make the best savings choose eco solvent ink, it’s made from volatile organic compounds, extremely durable and benefits from lower vapour pressure. What’s so great about volatile organic compounds? They produce brilliant colours and prove to be extremely fade-resistant at the same time.

Want to cut the costs associated with expensive ink cartridges? Try solvent ink and make savings from now on.

Original or compatible

Buy direct from the manufacturer and you’ll pay a price for solvent ink. Sure you get the reassurance of premium branded products, but at what cost to your company? Why not consider a compatible solvent ink cartridge? It’ll be much cheaper than an original item.

A number of ink manufacturers offer their own versions of solvent ink cartridges and depending on the type of printer you have, they’re plug and play products. You still get the same vibrant colours with the replacement solvent ink cartridges but the prices are way lower than manufacturers’ originals.

What’ve you got to lose? Why pay more for solvent ink when you don’t have to with high quality like-for-like replacement cartridges.

What if my printer doesn’t support plug and play cartridges?

Some do, some don’t. That doesn’t mean to say you can’t still benefit from low cost solvent ink. How? Simply flush out your existing ink prior to using the new solvent ink. Have a look at the manufacturer’s instructions for your printer to see if it’s compatible with replacement solvent ink cartridges. If you can’t find the information you could always ring suppliers and ask for their advice.

With luck your printer will already be compatible for value for money solvent ink cartridges and you can start making savings on your print processes straight away. Then again, it’s not exactly the end of the world if you have to flush out old ink to cut costs on printing in the future.
