It is really important that you take at least a little bit of time each day to network with other people who do business in Internet marketing. This just makes sense from a business perspective. Contacts can do a lot to help you with your business. Building your contact list can also keep you from feeling lonely. IM can be a very solitary job. Making contacts means that you'll have someone to talk to while you work.
One of the worst mistakes that new Internet marketers make is choosing a niche because it looks like it will be profitable and not because it is a topic that they enjoy. A lot of marketers do not get it and they drop the ball. It usually is not a tough thing to find a market for a product you want to promote and you like. Just think how much time you'll spend working in the subject, and if it's something you like it will be much easier to work in it.
Internet marketing mistakes are surprisingly easy to avoid if you take the time to learn. Even for older marketers, it can sometimes be pretty easy to find oneself caught up in something. Exercise good common sense, and then learn from others as much as possible. Try not to be afraid of hard work, either, and be open to new experiences. The important thing is never quit trying because you will get there.
