It's also very easy to put-off building your own marketing list; like... I'll do it later when I'm ready. The thing about marketing to a list is that you have more than one shot to make a sale. So just make the decision to begin building your marketing list regardless of niche. There's no shortage of information about list building and doing it effectively.

Don't believe every person who claims to be a guru. You do not have to travel far online to find someone who will be happy to tell you he's a guru. They say that the methods they will teach you are the same methods that made them rich. Do the most thorough research you can do before ever buying anything. It's true that not all people will ever be that successful. The smart thing is to avoid failing to investigate these marketers. Look for testimonials from people who are not featured on the sales pages. Don't be afraid to not buy from these people if you cannot find good and reliable confirmation.

There are lots of ways to find success online. Avoidable mistakes takes a huge toll on very many new marketers. Reading and learning about mistakes that happen to others is one of the smartest things you can do. Keep at it long enough and you'll do fine.
