Shelves that are attached to the wall

When you have storage issues you need to make sure that you make the most of the space that you have in trying to store your belongings be it at home or in the work place.

This is where shelves come in useful as they can be attached to the wall at any height that suits and placed in areas where you have space. Attaching the shelves to the wall means that you do not take up the valuable limited floor space that you have.

You can also make the shelving more of a design feature when hanging the shelves creating a pattern on your wall, be them all in a straight line of if you scatter a number of shelves around the wall.

Attaching shelves to the walls is a straight forward task as long as you have all of the relevant tools to be able to make sure that you can hang the shelves correctly. The tools that you need to be able to hang the shelves correctly are an electric drill, spirit levels, screw driver and a tape measure. When hanging the shelves the most important thing is to make sure that you measure correctly where you wish for the shelf to be hung. If you measure this incorrectly the shelf may not be straight or not placed centrally as you wanted it to be.

Here at BiGDUG there are a range of shelves available and they come in a variety of sizes so that you can find a unit that suits your exact needs. When buying your shelving ensure that you pick shelving that can hold the weight of the items that you require them to hold, as you obviously do not want the shelf and the items on the shelf to fall off of the wall and possibly break. Remember sagging shelves are a warning to act.
