Red Riding Hood The Movie

The woman walks with the woods to provide food to her sick grandmother.
A wolf desires to take in the girl but is afraid to do so in public places. He approaches little red riding hood and she or he naïvely tells him where she's going. He suggests the lady pick some flowers, which she does. In the meantime, he would go to the grandmother's home and gains entry by pretending to become the girl. He swallows the grandmother entire, and waits for the girl, disguised since the grandmother.

When the girl arrives, she notices he looks extremely strange being her grandmother. Little Red Riding Hood then says, "What large hands you've." In many retellings, this eventually culminates with Little Red Riding Hood saying, "My, what large teeth you've!", that the wolf replies, "The easier to eat you with," and swallows her entire, too.

Last week, audiences rushed to see the latest instalment of wizarding magic, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1. Those millions also previewed the most recent film trailer for Red Riding Hood, Catherine 'Twilight' Hardwicke's melodramatic undertake the well-known folktale.

Out of this trailer it would appear that Red Riding Hood continues to be neatly packaged for the Twihards as another woodsy romantic-fantasy-thriller, with increased intimacy to account for the 3 years older and wiser its audience has become.

The synopsis released with the film certainly reinforces the dramatic tone and content from the Twilight films. Amanda Seyfried plays Valerie, a nubile young woman betrothed by her parents to some wealthy man but desperately deeply in love with a broody outsider. Before Valerie can flee together with her forbidden lover, her older sister is found killed through the legendary werewolf that prowls the dark forest surrounding their medieval village. The Wolf is unsatisfied using the monthly animal sacrifice provided by the villagers and within blood red moon begins to pick from the villagers. The village is gripped by panic like a famed werewolf hunter warns that in its human form by day, the Wolf might be one. Valerie soon discovers she's a distinctive bond with the beast and is both suspect and bait.

However, perhaps it is unfair to judge Hardwicke's latest film by these standards. Though they're technically short previews, film trailers used are artfully constructed exhibits of editing and audience targeting, able to obscuring and promoting towards the will of film executives.

Indeed, Hardwicke's contribution to the Twilight saga, the first film Twilight, is generally recognised as the strongest of the film franchise also it certainly bore the impression of Hardwicke's previous experience. On the one hand, borne out from her directorial debut Thirteen, Hardwicke clearly has a keen knowledge of the self-involved state of female adolescence that may dramatise any decision to a grandiose, divinely fated scale.

On the other hand, her background as a production designer showed strongly within the convincing texture and detail from the film's closed world - within the regular denim-and-parkas Forks High School and also the eerily lovely North american setting lushly rendered.

This latest film trailer demonstrates that Red Riding Hood has a distinctive production design nailed down. Furthermore, Gary Oldman and Amanda Seyfried have proven themselves strong actors capable of rising above the cheesiest camp. The soundtrack bodes well too, with bellowing Inception horns and a new track from electro-ominous Fever Ray.
