Understanding What You See With A Dreams Dictionary
|
A fascinating subject that is being studied around the world today is that of dreaming. How we do it, why we do it, what does it mean, if anything? People have been curious about this subconscious act for many, many years and have been doing studies on the human brain that relate to the act of dreaming. Some people have dreams that are so clear they can move them and change them. This is called lucid dreaming. For these people, they know that they are asleep and are able to manipulate them in a way that others cannot. A dreams dictionary helps many people understand these night visions.
One of the first dreams that comes to peoples minds when they are discussing this subject is the naked dream. Everyone seems to have one and want to know what it means and why they would dream such a thing. They could be running around at work with no clothes on or could have gone to school that way. When they wake, they want to know why they had the dream and what their initial in-dream reaction means. If they were humiliated, they want to know what insecurity is causing this. If they were nonchalant, they have become aware of how self-confident they are.
The human fascination with animals will often manifest itself in our subconscious visions. We may have several nights that we are stalked by or approached by the same animal over and over again. Some dictionaries and manuals will give good explanations for why a person might be excessively dreaming about a certain creature.
War affects the mind in ways that those who have not experienced it could not possibly understand. The subconscious can tear a veterans mind apart with terrible visions and dreams. This is because very often the traumatic events that we take in become engrained in the brain and are forcibly replayed when the body is at rest. Visually disturbing images directly seen can plague someone for their entire life.
Oneirology, or studying the act of dreaming, helps us not only understand what they mean but also what is going on in the brain biologically, psychologically, emotionally and even physically in some cases.
A profession has been dedicated to the study of them, called Oneirology, so that we can obtain as much knowledge as we can into them. Brain activity is closely associated to dreaming, so researchers of the human brain are often very curious about it.
The average person can find that using a dreams dictionary will help them understand the basics and the fundamentals of what the subconscious is doing while we are dreaming. To get more in depth or to get help with visions and nightmares, someone might want to consult a professional.
