Sometimes you desire to give a gift to someone and you can wish it to hold a more romantic edge than the normal candles or flowers. At times you desire to give something a bit more personal. So, always be sure there is some kind of lasting item in the set. As for the rest, you will need to pick and choose what will please the other person and what will not. By selecting the items yourself, you are the one who will set the tone of the kit. That is part of the beauty of making your own kit, is the ability to personalize it to the one you are giving it to in the way you wish.
For those that just can't assemble a set from scratch, but still desire something more personal, they might find a business that sells spa gift sets. They can generally get a few ideas just by looking at the pictures of other collections. Also, you may purchase a set that has most of what you wish, unwrap it and add or take away the things you like or dislike, adding your personal touches, then rewrap it and give it to you friend.
